For those that have decided to go the entrepreneurial route, one thing that startups and entrepreneurs really struggle with is finding a place to work, one could work from home, but that too has its challenges.  One of the challenges faced with people who work from home is the lack of interaction with other like-minded people that working in an office can provide, just being in the same room with another professional can greatly improve your own productivity.  Offices for an entrepreneur who is just starting can be quite expensive, considering that cash flow could be tied up in the small business. iHub is an Innovation hub and hacker space for the technology community in Nairobi that was started in March 2010 by Erik Hersman a blogger, TED fellow and entrepreneur. 

This is a great multipurpose space. It provides a wonderful opportunity to meet technology developers,  students, Investors and collaborators.  To be part of this experience you have to be a member, there are 3 levels of membership white, green and red with white being free.  It is an exciting space that holds technology events, has a vibrant tech community and is the place to be challenged and inspired with the people working next to you.
